TRADE PATHWAYS PROGRAM

 

Want to get recognised for your time in the industry?

The NSW education department has provided an opportunity for experienced people working in the Signs and Graphics industry to get trade recognition.

The Trade Pathways Program was announced on Friday 23rd July 2021, and RTA was granted approval to deliver the program to the signage industry.

For your chance to get that recognition that you deserve you can now apply below.

This training is funded by the new government and is Fee Free for eligible candidtates.

Student Eligibility

Be aged 21 years or older.

Have at least 2 years experience.

Be currently working in the signage industry or have worked in the industry within the last 5 years.

Not be a current apprentice or trainee, if cancelled must be greater than 6 months ago.

Not be enrolled in any related Smart and Skilled subsidised training.

Assessed as capable of a minimum of three UoC’s and RPL.

No longer at school.

Be living or Working in NSW.

Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, humanitarian visa holder or a New Zealand Citizen.

The program is not intended to be used to undertake a recognition process for an overseas qualification. If a student meets the eligibility including a minimum of 2 years employment in the trade and evidence of a minimum of 12 months employment in the trade, in Australia they may meet the eligibility.

Eligible students are exempt from paying fees under the Program.
